Auto inventory physical
damage
Your inventory is the lifeblood of your
dealership. Our carriers provide the coverage and claims service to make
sure that if a loss occurs, you don't miss a beat. Here are just a few
features of dealership insurance policies:
Customers’ Automobiles
Three different coverage options are
available to cover your customers' vehicles when they are in your care.
Don't let an unfortunate situation cost you money
and a
customer.
Extended Theft
Protection is available for "Trick and
Device" schemes for inventory and stock. Coverage is provided for
"incoming" and "outgoing" losses. "Outgoing" is when you part with a
vehicle; "incoming" is when you acquire possession without a valid title
because of false pretense.
Physical Damage to Autos
This coverage protects against the elements.
While weather can decrease the value of your inventory in a hurry, so
can a person with criminal intent.
Property is more than just your buildings.
The following are some highlights:
Building Value
Do you know how much it would cost to
replace your building? Most people use the market value, which
could cause a nasty surprise when a claim occurs. We have a
commercial property valuation program that will determine the proper
limit for the property insurance on your building.
"Breakdown"
This coverage guarantees replacement cost on
computers, equipment and machinery, including pressure vessels.
Business Personal Property
You have properly insured your building, but
what about your property inside your building? Between
tools, computers, and detail supplies, this can add up quickly.
If you don't have the right coverage, one
liability occurrence could put your dealership out of business. Make
sure your garage liability coverage is structured specifically for you
and the risks you face as an auto dealer.
Garage Operations - Auto Liability:
bodily injury or property damage resulting from garage operations
involving the ownership, maintenance, or use of a covered auto.
Coverage is provided at limits equal to the states Financial
Responsibility Law.
Garage Operations - Other than Auto Liability: bodily injury or property damage resulting from garage
operations other than the ownership, maintenance, or use of a covered
auto. This is commonly known as
slip & fall coverage.
